Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms are larger than usual, equipped with air conditioning, a balcony with a terrace, bath, and separate shower. The modern vd Valks ensures impeccable rooms that are spacious and quiet.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The hotel is wonderfully spacious, with a great bathroom. Across the road is the Theo Meijer sports center that guests can use free of charge during their stay. However, my 'Non-smoker' room wasn't as fresh as I expected from the new/refurbished side.
During my 26-day stay, the rooms, although not recently updated, were wonderfully spacious with great beds. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Theo Meijer sports center, which guests can use for free. The air quality could be improved, but the spaciousness and comfort of the rooms were notable.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and well-lit, perfect for our group of three, and we all had a restful sleep. They were modern and clean, although the view overlooking the main road was a minor downside. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff always ready to assist, but there was a brief encounter with rudeness. The location, though not ideal for accessing dining and entertainment without a car, was convenient for us as we had our own transportation. The dining options were varied and delightful, especially the breakfast choices. The facilities were excellent overall.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, although equipped with air conditioning and a balcony with a terrace, were a little old and in need of some refurbishment. The service was a mix of experiences, with some staff being extremely helpful and sympathetic, like Reimer who served us wine on the terrace, while others were not so friendly, especially when they gave me the wrong key. The location, although convenient for those with a car, lacked access to public transport, which was a downside. The dining experience was generally good, with a variety of breakfast options, but it could get crowded during peak times. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
